TV Actress Will Not Be Number Three

BuzzFoto – This not so bright starlet recently found the cell phone of the director of her television show. She cruised through the numbers in his contact list and when she discovered her name was listed third behind other actresses on the show, she threw a huge tantrum. She confronted the director and accused him of picking favorites, the proof being in his cell phone contact list. He calmly explained that the names were put in alphabetical order, not order of importance. Instead of apologizing for her behavior, she instead went back to her trailer and tried to clean up her wardrobe she had earlier ripped to shreds out of anger. Not Courteney Cox.

She May Lose Role Over His Shortcomings

BlindGossip – This actress was delighted to finally land a lead on a television series. However, it may be over before it begins. Although she tested well, one of the show’s key execs just doesn’t like her. Scratch that. He can’t stand her. Turns out that a few years back she rejected him in a way that infuriated him. They had gone out on a couple of dates, but she soon discovered that his talk was bigger than his anatomy. Seems she told a couple of friends about his shortcomings and that information eventually got back to him. Since then, he has been waiting for payback. He thinks it would be the ultimate humiliation if they announced that she was being replaced on the show by someone younger or prettier or thinner or more talented. Since the actress thinks she’s got the role on lock, it should come as a pretty big shock to her if her role is recast.

Rob Lowe’s Love on Parks and Recreation

EntertainmentWeekly – The exiting Brothers & Sisters actor joins the NBC comedy next month as one of two state employees (the other being Party Down‘s Adam Scott) brought in to fix Pawnee’s budgetary crisis. Executive producer Michael Schur likens it to “an action movie where the FBI shows up and the local cops say, ‘This is our jurisdiction! And the FBI says, ‘Not anymore!’” But Lowe’s character, Chris Traeger, wins everyone over with his “very optimistic, positive, forward-thinking” attitude, explains Schur, who hints that he “very quickly falls into a romantic entanglement” with one of the locals. “I don’t want to spoil who it is because it’s kind of a surprise.”

Fast Forward This TV Show

EntertainmentWeekly – Battlestar Galactica did it. Desperate Housewives did it. And now yet another popular show is considering utilizing the increasingly-familiar plot device known as the time warp and fast-forwarding all of its stories! Which one? I’d love to tell you, but this is a blind item. So all you’ll get out of me are the following clues:

1. If it happens, the time shift will occur between this season’s finale and next season’s premiere.
2. If it happens, it’ll be because, I’m told, the network wanted to shake up the show and its characters, opening doors to new stories and closing doors on old ones.

3. If it happens… I’ll (hopefully) be telling you about it in the next few weeks.
