We called this one three months ago. The title still holds. Everything will be very, very civil on the outside. Neither is expected to publicly blab about the details. However, behind the scenes, there is a flurry of activity over money and outsiders. Both members of this celebrity couple have considerable fortunes, but one has more than the other, and wants to block the less-wealthy one from claiming a piece of that both now and in the future. The negotiations have been cautious, however, due to both parties showing interest in someone outside the marriage since the decision to split was made several months ago. One has been spending a lot of phone time with an old flame who is now married. The other has been finding comfort in the constant company of a same sex member of their staff. The attorneys will hammer out the money, but it will interesting to see if either uses the other’s outside relationship as private or public leverage.
