[Blind Gossip] The public perception of this famous man certainly has changed!

The allegations against him have gone from a drip to a trickle to a flood.

Is it coincidental?

No.

While it is not exactly being orchestrated by the wife, it is all leading in a very specific direction that she wants it to go.

Is it about the money?

Everyone thinks it’s about the money. They think she wants more money for herself and for her kids in the divorce.

Money is nice, but they have more money than they can spend in a dozen lifetimes. So it is not just about the money!

Is it about revenge?

Of course she is angry about the affair and his friendship with [redacted]! He has hurt and embarrassed himself and everyone around him.

However, she has always known that he is not strong and mature. He is weak and immature and stupid and impulsive.

She believes that he is fundamentally a bad person with the judgement of an adolescent.

Ouch. So… if it’s not about the money or revenge, what else is there?

Well, his wife has one very specific goal in mind!

He has behaved so badly for so many years, she is going to take away the thing that matters most to him.

We already know that it’s not the money. So, what is it?

She wants him removed from the foundation.

The foundation is his greatest joy. He considers it the crown jewel of his life’s work and his greatest achievement. It is his greatest source of connection to people and power and influence. If she is successful in removing him, she basically neuters him.

That was not what we expected, but it does make sense. If he has no more businesses to run – and the foundation is his passion and focus – taking that away from him him would be the ultimate punishment.

In other words, taking away his crown jewel… would also mean taking away his crown jewels!

We’ll see if she succeeds.

    Bill is a brat & it was well known that he had an abusive administrative style but so did Steve Jobs . Now I sense there might be more sinisterness to Bill & that doesn’t include adultery & Melissa has uncovered those unmarked graves & Bill is in damage control mode right now . I have owned & used both Windows & Mac PCs . The essence is from what I heard elder Mac user say to a young Windows user “ I have never had a Mac crash on me “ Well I think Bill’s rep is doing a Windows thing .

    There has to be more to the downfall of Gates than the divorce from Melinda and some 20 year old hanky panky in the office.
    He angered the wrong people. Apparently even Bill Gates can get too big for his britches.
    I am grateful it happened. I remember a couple of months ago driving and hearing an interview with him on NPR. He had just released his book and was poised to tell us all how to live our lives (while not obeying any of the new rules himself). Bill Gates is cancelled…Good.

    He has not fooled me. He seems like a petty, petty man. Who would marry this snivelling man and ALLOW him to go visit a girlfriend annually? Never thought him attractive or with any redeeming qualities. I hope she is able to do what she wants. Anyone person with as much power as he has (used for his own evil agenda) should be made to realize he is not infallible! I see him standing on a bunch of human bones drinking from his Microsoft cup!!

    She is probably doing it for legal reasons, to protect the foundation, not as a point of revenge. The foundation could suffer if there is evidence as to Gates using funds to do things he should not be doing.

    How can people marry someone they see as “a fundamentally bad person”? I can’t imagine spending 27 years married to a bad, immature person.

    As for Bill, it’s not surprising. It would be a huge blow to his ego if the name is changed to The Melinda Gates Foundation, so I’m all for it

      Because you DON’T see him as a “fundamentally bad person” when you marry him. She was working for Microsoft, & it’s hard to see the immature side of the hard-charging CEO boss. They also decided/began to plan for starting their philanthropic foundation before they married. By all accounts he’s an involved Dad equally sharing parenting. It’s not coincidence they’re divorcing now their youngest kid is 18. Many couples kids move out=we have nothing in common.

    I think it’s impossible to be that wealthy and not be a little evil. Either by acts of your own, or by association- looking the other way at your palms shady dealings, and rubbing shoulders with degenerates because of mutual interests. You are bound to do both or either in those circles.

    What do you think of him? I’ve always felt there was something ‘off’ about him, but could never decide just what. With his ongoing friendship with Jeffrey Epstein (and we know he ‘partook’ of everything on that notorious island) to his hitting on co-workers and his ‘once a year trip with his first love’, I think its going to come out that Melinda put up with quite a lot from Billy-boy. And that is so wrong. He felt untouchable.
