He Refuses To Work With Her

woman holding man[Mid Day] She is counted among the most promising actresses and has worked with some big names in the industry, but now she seems to be taking slow, cautious steps to ensure that she grabs the best projects possible. She has been getting one offer after another, but is yet to make up her mind about them. For, all she can think about at the moment is working with this particular A-list actor.

A source says,

She is desperate to work with this actor and has been sending feelers to help cast her in his next film. In the past, there were rumors that she would team up with him for a film, but it always came to a naught. Now, she wants to lobby for a film opposite him.

The actress’ team has been trying to get in touch with the actor to work something out, but the latter just does not seem interested.

She knows the importance of being part of his inner circle since he often recommends his friends’ names to his director and producers. The actress regrets having irked him in the past and feels that if she can get into his good books somehow, she would be able to bag bigger projects. She is especially keen to star opposite him in his next film, which will be helmed by a popular director. However, he is not in favor of meeting her. He was not in the least bit amused that her team made such a hullabaloo about her pairing up with him in one of his recent releases for which she was not even approached.

    Recently she publicly said she was considered to be too old to play Leo’s love interest in The Wolf of Wall Street. At the time it got quite a bit of press because she’s significantly younger than Leo.

    I don’t see how this can be Jennifer L. It says “up and coming” but she’s already bagged a Best Actress Oscar. She’s not “up and coming” after that – she’s definitely A List!

    The only thing I can think of is I actually do remember rumors of Jennifer Lawrence and Leo “almost working together.” Maybe he thinks she’s too hyper/trys too hard to be goofy. I don’t think it’s that offensive that she would put it out there that they almost worked together. Not really worth him being that annoyed about it.

    I have no idea why, but I really want to say Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio? Maybe she rebuffed his advances at some point, athough he prefers model types?

    OR as a wild card, Cara Delevigne (who is definitely “up and coming”)

    She is very determined, certainly not desperate. She is known to be very ambitious.

    Optional: She is desperate. J-Law and Emma Stone said that they are huge fans of DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese. DiCaprio has 2 huge projects right now: 1 with Scorsese and the other one is THE CARTEL a gangster epic with Sir Ridley Scott. Both projects are Oscar material

      And also come on. Would Lawrence need to finagle? She is as sough after the high caliber as Leo? Is there any reason to think she’d need extra help with Scorsese or Leo, both of whom would be fools NOT to work with the actress of her generation (thus far anyway.)?
