Actor’s Wife Got This Actress Banned

But the current situation isn’t turning out well for him. Recently, the leading man asked his top producer to sign up his current fave female actor to star alongside him in a forthcoming film.

But, the producer refused, saying she was too old for the part. Of course, there’s a back story, as there always is.

The actor’s wife isn’t too comfortable with her hubby hanging around with this relative newbie, a fine actress by the way. Also, this isn’t the first time the wifey has banned certain heroines from working with him. All’s fair in love and war.

    Clues: “she’s a fine actress”. She is. None of these other guesses can say that

    “Heroine” – Black Widow in the Avengers movies…most recently Civil “love and” WAR.
    And for the producers to say she’s “too old” means she can’t be in her 20s, imo.

      Doesn’t Adam Sandler produce his own films? I believe he has complete creative control over them, so no one would be able to tell him anyone was “too young” to be in it. He writes them too.

    I’m guessing Robert Downey Jr for the actor cos his wife is a producer for their shared company Team Downey and theyve just announced writers for new script for Sherlock Holmes movie. I can’t see how else a wife could ban an actress unless she had some professional link to the production. As to actress I’m stumped. “Relative newcomer” but excuse is “too old” for role? Maybe Rebecca Hall or Felicity Jones??

    I don’t know who big daddy is, but I’m going to be angry if Maggie Smith or Helen Mirren are part of any list that would suggest they are too old for a film. And yes, I would be jealous if my SO was romantically paired with either of these lovely actresses.

      I don’t think it’s her. He worked with Jessica on I Now Pronounced You, Chuck and Larry. Plus, she has been acting for years now.
